Adria (weave) (2)

Midweight wool fabric which is soft to the touch, distinguished by fine angled spacing which is lightly felted. Woven in some derivative satin weaves: a., granite or angled rep is used in men's formal suits, and in women's suits and dresses. Sometimes known as fabric of natural silk. The name is derived from a. weave.
