Primary weave, of which the [[101455|binding points]] do not touch and are regularly transplanted. Each warp thread and each weft has only a single alternation in the weave and otherwise its [[101244|repeat]] is the same in both the warp and the weft. Atlas/satin weaves are numbered in sequence. Among the most important a. derivatives are [[100804|broken satin]], [[101066|, atlas weave construction with pieced-up points ]], [[101188|two-step sateen ]], [[101232|shaded sateen ]] and [[101573|reinforced satin]].
