Bouclé (3)

[[100234|fancy ]]yarn twisted from three or four threads; its characteristic arc effect is achieved by the twisting together of the base thread and the fancy yarn at a variety of speeds. The tightness of the arc can be adjusted by using a further one or two twisting yarns. The term "bouclé" is derived from the French, meaning "small arc" or "to curl".
