Camel hair cloth

heavyweight woollen fabric which is soft, even tender to the touch and has a pile surface which covers the twill or satin weave. Produced from carded yarns with a percentage of camel hair, in a characteristic beige colour. Used for ladies' and men's coats. The name is derived from the English.
