Clothing of Gothic style

distinctive for its trim, vertical lines which fitted close to the figure. Ladies' robe had long sleeves, was hitched up by a belt, and in inclement weather was worn with a coat of a semi-circular shape. Married women wore(away from the home) their hair and neck under a veil. The basic undergarment of men was a shirt dress, in most cases worn without, occasionally with a belt, and with a coat of semi-circular cut.
