Crepe georgette (1)

airy, lightweightwoollen fabric, grainy to the touch with a lattice-like texture, produced from single, sharp-twisted crepe woollen yarn, with the alternating of S and Z twists in one or two threads in the warp and weft. In linen weave, and used for blouses and evening dresses. The name is given by its first producer, Grepe Georgette.
