Criset

somewhat dense, midweight cotton fabric in a weave of broken twill. The warp is usually dark-blue in colour, the weft burlap or white, and it is most commonly of a loose-twisted vigogne yarn. The face is plain with a very visible weave; the back is combed. Used for men's underwear. (vide also croisé)
