a highly-developed sketch of a certain part of the human figure, arranged into areas as a plan for the area of garments or pieces of garments, achieved on the basis of a cut construct or a model. We distinguish between the c. of suits, coats, sleeves, collars, etc. For best results in production of a garment, the c. should be harmonized with the figure, textile-fabric type, model, purpose of wear, and fashion.
