Defects of seams

Seam puckering - local defect of a garment in a form of puckering of fabric near seam. Seam failure - undesirable hole in a garment caused by distorting the seam stitch. Seam slippage - seam allowance pulled out of the seam from the edge by pull, pressure or due to other reasons. Pulled out seam - seam the length of which during joining ironing or other extension.
