Flames novelty yarn

fancy y., which on its surface has short or long reinforced stretches in the shape of a flame, which sometimes differ in colour. Produced on a condenser card with the addition of scraps of roving or fleece to the basic material; also produced on a doubling frame so that the roving (or yarn of a specified length) is woven in with the two threads.
