commonly used term for the [[101405|textured yarn]] originally produced by the Swiss firm Heberlein and Co.; textured by false twist from polyamide and polyester silk. The name is a registered trademark. Used in the production of stockings, socks, knits and fabrics. The outstanding features of these products are their elasticity, softness, and ease of wear.
