Jackett coat

forms part of a Jackett suit. Is single-breasted and close-fitting, with a lapel collar; its frontpieces are rounded from the waist down, tapering to the backpiece and reaching to the top of the knee. The side seams are positioned notably towards the back; under the shoulderblades these seams form an arc as they enter the armholerom the waist down, a concealed fold is worked into each. Instead of a folded seam under the waist there is a long vent.
