Knitwoven fabric

textile f. produced by progressive technologies on knitweaving machines, on which a classic weft pick is substituted by a system of weft threads spliced in all at once, so that it forms stripes of the character of the f. to whose weft threads it is joined by the stitches of the knit. The main aim of this technology is to achieve an increase in capacity. Used in the production of ladies' dresses, men's suits, underwear, and decorative f.
