Loden coat; ulster coat

long, loose-fitting coat, the back part of which has a verticalinverted pleat and a three-piece half belt. Single-breasted with an open-necked lapel collar and a half-lined front part. Produced from pile ulster cloth. Originally served as a huntsman's coat; it takes its name from that of the huntsman's patron saint, Hubert.
