Microfibre

polyamide and polyester fibre which is finer than all natural fibres and silks (less than l dtex - 10000 m of fibre has a weight of 1 g). Used in the production of very fine, flowing [[101358|textile fabrics]]. Its qualities and look are refined by mixing with other chemical and natural fibres; it can be further refined by grinding. M. garments protect the figure from rain and wind. Used in sports-type clothing, and also easy-care ladies' and men's fashionwear.
