Moleskin fabric

dense [[100079|cotton]] fabric from medium-fine yarn, in [[100049|satin weave]]. Used for pockets. In a more heavyweight rendering, with a reinforced underweft and a combed back, it resembles fine leather. Used in the production of work clothing, especially trousers. The name is given by the English. A very heavyweight type of this fabric is known as English leather.
