Moss crepe

airy, porous, midweight woollen fabric, which is full and soft to the touch and has a mossy look; in twill weaves with various repeats. Twisted ondé yarn is used in the warp and weft, often in combination with a single crepe yarn in a relation of 1:1 or 2:2. Used for ladies' dresses and suits. Its name makes clear it has the softness and appearance of moss, which the fabric visibly resembles.
