Moss crepe

airy, porous, midweight [[101499|woollen]] fabric, which is full and soft to the [[100849|touch]] and has a mossy look; in [[100590|twill weaves]] with various repeats. Twisted [[10852;|ondé]] yarn is used in the warp and weft, often in combination with a single crepe yarn in a relation of 1:1 or 2:2. Used for ladies' dresses and suits. Its name makes clear it has the softness and appearance of moss, which the fabric visibly resembles.
