Oriental cloth

mid- to heavyweight woollen fabric of low permeability, which is intensively fulled and has a short-cut pile, and a greater or lesser water-like lustre; in linen, circassian or combined twill weave from carded yarns of fine wools. Used for clothing in countries of the Orient (hence the name), and also for fashionable coats and jackets for ladies.
