Reverse twill; see reverse twill

derived [[100497|twill weave]] from basic, reinforced or stitched t., by which the weave - after the plotting of the repeat - returns in the opposite direction, although the final gap in the [[101244|repeat]] does not re-occur. This creates sharp tips along or across the fabric. This type of weave is typically used in [[101499|woollen fabrics]], particularly those of coats.
