Rickrack braid

stitch-bonded, even braid of cotton, polyester and viscose yarn with a diagonally interlaced single thread system, which is coloured and has a smooth, double surface. Both edges are in the shape of regular waves; the width of r. b. is typically between 6 mm and 12 mm. Used in the decoration of folk costumes, underwear and other clothing.
