Tropical cloth

porous, airy, lightweight woollen fabric, which is somewhat sharp and dry to the touch, and has a cooling appearance and a visible structure. Produced exclusively in linen weave from twice- or thrice-twisted worsted yarn, often with a sharper twist in various directions and a mouliné rendering. Used for men's lightweight summer suits and ladies' dresses and suits. The name is given by the fact that the fabric is intended for wear in tropical regions.
