Warp knit(ted) fabric; locknit fabric

its threads are fed longitudinally (as in crochet stitch). Its stitches are not formed from a single thread as in weft knit f., but from warp thread systems. Stitches are not formed gradually but all at once on all needles. The qualities of this group of knits are given by their differing texture (low extensibility, elasticity, voluminosity).
