Atlas weave construction with pieced-up points
derived [[100049|atlas/satin weave]] formed by the random addition of [[101455|binding points]] in the [[101428|weft]] to the base weft atlas. This weave forms on the fabric a wide ribbing slanted at an angle of up to 30°C. Typically used in the production of cotton and woollen fabrics for ladies' dresses.
