Camelot

soft, midweight[[101499|woollen fabric]] with a pile surface which conceals the weave ([[100497|twill]] or [[100049|satin]]). Its characteristic colour is that of [[101461|camel hair]] and it is produced from woollen carded yarns with differing percentages of [[101461|camel hair]]. Used for ladies' and men's coats, its name is derived from the German "Kamel" - camel.
